Cybersecurity: Soft & Solution’s Workshop on Risks and Protection in the Digital Era

As the world shifts more towards online services and remote work, cyberattacks have become an increasingly serious and growing threat. That’s why Soft & Solution organized the workshop “Cybersecurity, Risks, and How to Protect Ourselves from Them”, an initiative aimed at informing and raising awareness about the challenges and necessary preventive measures in this field.

The workshop highlighted the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the rise of cyberattacks. With individuals and institutions moving massively to digital platforms, the space for exploitation has expanded significantly, affecting not only regular internet users but also vulnerable groups such as children attending online classes.

Throughout the event, some of the most critical topics in cybersecurity were discussed:

  • What are cyberattacks and how do they happen?
  • The stages of a cyberattack from the initial reconnaissance to full system compromise.
  • The difference between “White Hat Hackers” and “Black Hat Hackers”: while the former help protect systems, the latter seek personal gain through security breaches.
  • The most common methods of data theft: including phishing emails and misuse of sensitive information such as credit card data and personal identification.

This workshop was more than just a theoretical lecture, it was a direct call for increased caution, education, and awareness, so that users can navigate the internet safely and confidently.

Ermal Beqiri, founder of Soft & Solution, emphasized the importance of organizing such events:

“In a world where technology advances at lightning speed, security is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity. We believe that education is the best protection against digital threats.”

In conclusion, the workshop served as an important starting point in building a culture of digital safety, where every user becomes more aware of their online behavior and the risks that come with it.
