Zero Trust with Trust: The Security Philosophy That Works
Date: June 11, 2024

In a fast-moving digital world, security is no longer optional, it’s essential. And one of the most talked-about approaches in cybersecurity today is the Zero Trust philosophy. At first glance, it might sound contradictory: how can you build trust in an environment that promotes “zero trust”?
This very question became the center of focus during our recent experience at the Entrust Bootcamp in Serbia, where teams from Soft & Solution and Horizon took part in an intensive training on how Zero Trust works in real-world business environments.
What became clear to us is that Zero Trust isn’t about lacking trust, it’s about setting clear standards, maintaining continuous control, and committing to daily training to create a secure and reliable workplace.
As Ermal Beqiri, founder of Soft & Solution Group, said: “Zero Trust with Trust might sound like a paradox, but it works. We trust in technology, but we test and monitor it every single day. We believe in our people, but we empower them with knowledge, training, and systems that make that trust even stronger.”
For us, Zero Trust is more than a technical concept, it’s a working philosophy that shapes our everyday decisions. We build relationships based on trust with our partners, while also implementing clear protocols to safeguard our systems and data. We use artificial intelligence not to replace people, but to enhance our security and detect weaknesses before they turn into threats.
We also draw inspiration from organizations like the PKI Consortium, which promote global standards for security, transparency, and digital trust.
This mindset is part of our shared mission: to build a future where technology is secure, collaboration is honest, and every digital interaction is protected.
