On November 15, 2024, the Albanian Council for Technology and Innovation (ACTI) officially launched during an inspiring event held in Tirana. Over 350 professionals from IT, cybersecurity, academia, business, and civil society gathered to celebrate this milestone, marking a new chapter for Albania’s technology and innovation ecosystem.

The event featured the first internal meeting of ACTI, where its mission to create a credible and unified platform for professionals was unveiled.
The founding members symbolically signed the establishment act, solidifying ACTI’s role in fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the adoption of cutting-edge practices in IT standards, digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, education, and innovation.

Ermal BEQIRI, representing Soft & Solution, was elected as Albanian Council for Technology and Innovation (ACTI)’s first Chairman, while the other founding members of the board are Andis Papa – Fastech shpk, Enea Buza – HardTech AL, Gentian Likaj – Communication Progress, Igli Gjelishti – dev.al, Gjergji Mulla – Helius Systems, Gezim Hoxha – FIRST – Cyber Security & Engineering Solutions and Enor Nakuçi – kreatx.
