Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Soft & Solution, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, usability, and performance of our software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams – including developers, project managers, and product owners – to design and implement tests, investigate issues, and maintain high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of software features and functionality.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues; proactively follow up with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Propose and implement process improvements to streamline QA efforts and enhance overall product quality.
• Work with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, discuss solutions, and provide status updates.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for various software modules, ensuring consistent and repeatable test coverage.
• Create and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, release notes, and user guides, when necessary.
• Provide accurate and detailed test progress and status reports to QA Lead or Management.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of  2 years of experience in software QA or a similar role.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with QA tools or similar defect-tracking systems.
• Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Working knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
