We are looking for a confident individual to join our team as a part-time instructor for the Front-End Web Development profile.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic software developers with experience in teaching theory and practical activities related to computer programming.

We welcome applications from experienced instructors but will also be willing to support those professionals who enjoy significant industry experience and are looking to start a career in education to achieve a teaching qualification through our programme.

Responsibilities:

• Guide students through the development of a final project that will highlight their professional skills in front of HR managers;
• Create a dynamic and collaborative classroom community;
• Instructors will need to commit several hours per week to prepare lessons and materials, utilizing existing Soft Academy curriculum content;
• Inspire students to persevere in the challenges of learning a new skill set.

Skill required

• Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Have knowledge in project management both Agile and Water Fall Project Management, approaches and familiarity with project management tools.
• Individuals who enjoy UX design experience preferred;
• You have at least 5 years of experience in Front-end Web Development;
• You’re the person your colleagues naturally turn to when they’re trying to figure something out;
• Understand the following terms: HTML/CSS (strong/expert understanding) and JavaScript/jQuery.
